December 1962, Green's Propane Gas was formed, Mrs. Green working the office from small desk in the dining room of her home and Mr. Green delivering the gas off a well used 1957 double barrel chevrolet delivery truck. There was an 18,000 gallon storage tank 10 miles up the road in Salem they used for storage. From that small desk and truck came the humble beginings of our family business.

Now in its third generation and over 45 years old, the company has grown into a fleet of vehicles, a 3400 sq ft office and showroom in Smiths Station, AL, a 2500 sq ft office and showroom in Waverly Hall, GA and over 200,000 gallons of storage at four seperate storage plants.

Not only are there three generations of Green's working to serve our customers but we employ ten other employees that are local home town people. In total our employees have over 200 years experience serving customers with quality propane service. We don't stop there though, we provide our employees with all the training they need to stay up to date with the newest and most advanced propane products.
